Brooklyn Bridge Park and its view of Manhattan

A walk on the Brooklyn Bridge

When the sun comes out, you can sunbathe while having a picnic by the East River. Lined with flower beds, trees, benches, and play areas, the park is a friendly destination for tourists, joggers, families, lovers and New Yorkers (who want a place of inspiration to indulge in their art).

I think this place will become a "must" as the "classics" on the Manhattan side can already be… it is in any case a must!

Good to know about the Brooklyn Bridge

  • On Sundays from April to September the "Flea food market" offers its doors, it is a large open-air market on Pier 5. You will find a hundred stalls of all kinds of food.

Take the opportunity to visit Brooklyn Heights

At the north end, you can then head inland to experience Brooklyn's architectural heritage starting with Brooklyn Heights and its very charming cobblestone streets. For those who are a little hungry, take a trip to classic Brooklyn restaurants, such as the famous Grimaldi's Pizzeria or enjoy a good ice cream at Ice Cream Factory (photo below).
