Skip-the-line ticket to Seville and Seville city pass

Do you want information about the Sevilla City Pass? Do you know if it is profitable? Interesting? If the system is simple and clear? Is it more interesting to just take Skip-the-line tickets to Seville ? Here's my uncompromising opinion for you

Here's the plan from this article for those in a hurry (+ a menu to the right):

  • What is the Sevilla City Pass?
  • What's in the Seville city pass
  • See skip-the-line tickets for Seville
  • A bike tour with a guide, Victor or Carlos (.

1) Seville city pass

The Seville city pass or the Seville city pass is as you would expect; a pass that brings together several Skip-the-line tickets to Seville. This is what it offers:

  • The tourist bus - The circuit is very good, so do it!
  • Skip-the-line entrance to the Alcázar of Seville, a must!
  • And theSkip-the-line entrance to Seville Cathedral and its Giralda.
  • This Seville pass (it is really a good pass, I recommend it. On the other hand, know that there is no guide, for my part, this is the negative point of this pass, because personally, I thought that the Alcazar tour (link ) it was really cool!
  • If you take the pass remember to print the tickets that you will receive by email, you can print your tickets in Seville here.

/! Keep in mind that it is you who chooses your dates. So you can very well order the tourist bus on Tuesday, then the skip-the-line ticket for the Alcazar on Thursday and the ticket to visit the Cathedral and its Giralda on Saturday.

  • Why don't I recommend the passes with the boat trip and the one-way transfer from Seville airport?

On the Internet you can find other passes with the option of a cruise on the Guadalquivir + transfer from the airport. Well I know I tried it too.

Well I had to wait for the Uber driver 30 minutes before seeing my name on a sign (see photo below) when there were at least 10 taxis waiting outside the airport. In short, it was not helpful for me to book a taxi, that is not what I lack.

In addition, the price of the trip between the airport and Seville is fixed by the Seville government, or € 25 for the trip of 1 to 4 people, so you do not be fooled ...

And as for the boat trip, well, we don't see much, while I did it I found it more beautiful (and much cheaper) to visit the Tour del Oro, which is right in front of the boats. (As you can see in the image below, we see the home port just to the left of the Golden Tower).

The visit to the Torre del Oro is not compulsory at all, but here I prefer it to the boat trip. And the view at the top is really nice, don't forget your camera!

During the ascent you will be able to admire several maps that represent the routes that Christopher Columbus used, or even reproductions of his ship.

For the record, this tower was the safe in Seville, where the gold from South America was locked up (hence its name the golden tower). This tower also played an important role in the defense of Seville. In fact, it was attached to the Alcázar by fortifications.

At that time, a second tower was on the other side and when enemy ships attacked the beautiful city, a chain was extended between these two towers. An extremely dissuasive and very ecological defense!

That is why I advise you to take the Seville City Pass (. Afterwards, you are free to take whatever you want if you are interested in the boat trip and do not particularly want to visit the Cathedral of Seville and its Giralda ... but that would be a real shame.

2) Information on excursions with the Seville City Pass

  • The Cathedral and its Giralda

The magnificent Cathedral of Seville and its Giralda are true architectural jewels. For me it is essential and you have to skip the line with this pass. If you do not take a pass, remember to take at least the direct access to the Cathedral and its Giralda (link 1 and link 2 to compare prices and availability).

As you can see, there are quite a few people:

If you want a guide, don't accept the pass because there isn't one. So if you need a guide:

  • Only the guided visit to the Alcázar ().
  • Just skip the line to the Cathedral and its Giralda (link 1 and link 2 to compare prices and availability).
  • Only the Alcazar skips the line (link).
  • Tourist bus

Hop on and off whenever you want. I found the Seville tourist bus very nice because it gives you a good overview of Seville quite quickly.

Don't forget your hat and a bottle of water, you can play at the top… You have several stations, but I personally started the walk from the beginning, that is, in the Torre del Oro.

If you only want the ticket, otherwise you should know that with the Seville city pass that I recommend (you have the ticket for this bus.

Here is a small video taken just after passing Alameda de Hércules. The Alameda de Hércules is a very lively and ideal place to start the night.

It really is a pleasant walk that awaits you, neither too long nor too short, I highly recommend it!

  • The Alcazar of Seville

Ahhh, the great love of my visit to Seville! You can't miss it, but you need the Alcazar to skip the line!

With the Seville city pass that I recommend (you have the queue jump. If you want a guided visit to the Alcázar ().

As you can see in the video above, there is a line that discourages more than one and therefore many drops, it is a shame! for the tail jump.

Once at the entrance, we are happy to have a skip-the-line ticket for the Alcazar (don't forget to print it!), Just to reserve the skip-the-line ticket ().

As you can see, there are quite a lot of people in the Alcazar, which is quite normal, it really is one of the most beautiful monuments I have seen, it would be a shame to miss it and unfortunately, the waiting time discourages many!

If you are late, you can print your tickets for Seville here.

  • Only the guided visit to the Alcázar ().
  • Just skip the line to the Cathedral and its Giralda (link 1 and link 2 to compare prices and availability).
  • Only the Alcazar skips the line (link).

  • A guided bike tour (.

  • Only the guided visit to the Alcázar ().
  • Just skip the line to the Cathedral and its Giralda (link 1 and link 2 to compare prices and availability).
  • Only the Alcazar skips the line (link).

4) Can we add a guided tour to the Sevilla Pass?
