Brooklyn Botanic Garden - A full color experience

Open to the general public since 1910, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden is a 21-hectare botanical garden considered by many to be the region's premier horticultural attraction. With more than 10 varieties of plants, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden is a very nice attraction for lovers of beautiful walks and flora. Every year, the park receives about 700,000 visitors from not only New York, but from all over the world.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden: a most enjoyable experience

A visit to the botanical garden is both a very New York and quite original experience. One of the beauties of New York lies in its many contrasts. Smelling the sweet scent of flowers and admiring the magnificent palette of colors that the garden offers us is spectacular. The further you go into the heart of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the more the impression of being far from everything is felt. The botanical garden is one of those places in the city where you find it hard to believe you're in New York. It is a truly beautiful place. Here, you can visit a most picturesque Victorian greenhouse, the reconstruction of a very pretty Japanese garden, a tropical garden or the Shakespeare Garden with more than 80 plants mentioned in his works, next to each plant you can find a poem or an extracts.
