To enter the PDT you will need to go through a phone booth, pick up the phone, dial a number and wait for the booth to pivot to enter the bar. Original, don't you think?

Inside, you will be at the heart of a vintage and retro atmosphere and dark bar will impress you!

Fig 19

Located in the Lower East Side neighborhood, Fig 19 is a a speakeasy who is hiding at the back of an art gallery. This kind of establishment illegally sold alcohol during the prohibition period and today Fig 19 follows the same concept. It's also hard to believe that a bar is hiding behind an art gallery, and yet!

If you want to enter, you will need negotiate with the vigil who will pretend to know nothing. But don't be discouraged by his reaction!

Once "accepted" you will have to walk through an art gallery in order to enter the bar.

This New York bar is located at 131 Chrystie Street and is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 18 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Thursday to Saturday from 20 p.m. to 4 a.m.
